EU Allocates € 26.9million to Georgia to Assist Refugees

EU allotted € 26.9m to Georgia for the assistance to refugees, EU Georgian office press service reports. It is the second tranche out of total € 51.5m. The first tranche was granted in July 2009.

European commission shares position of Georgian authorities on priority of assistance to refugees and allocated € 51.5m to implement long term activities on resettlement and accommodation both for refugees of nineties and those displaced as a result of August 2008 war.
