The Seaports of Alexandria and Poti signed a mutual understanding memorandum as part of the visit of Georgian Prime Minister Nikoloz Gilauri to Egypt.
Moreover, Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Georgia and Egypt also signed an agreement on cooperation. The Governments of Georgia and Egypt also signed an agreement on cooperation in the tourism sector, the Georgian Foreign Ministry says.
The parities also discussed the-Egypt-Georgia bilateral cooperation issues and implementation of joint investment projects in the fields of power system, pharmaceutical industry, information technologies, tourism and etc.
The Egypt-Georgia Business Forum was also held in Egypt. The Georgian Prime Minister delivered a speech at the Forum and introduced the current economic state of Georgia and the country tourism potential.
The Georgian Delegation will return to Georgia on January 23.
