Georgian Opposition Parties' to Send Appeal to UN on January 5

The appeal by the Georgian opposition parties to hold elections in Georgia under the auspices of the United Nations, addressed to the Secretary General of the organization, will be sent to New York on Jan. 5, the press service of the Georgian Labor Party told Trend News.

New Right, Democratic Movement - Unified Georgia, White Movement, Movement for United Georgia, Movement for Fair Georgia, Industrialists, Freedom, Georgia's Way, National Forum, the Conservative Party, the Republican Party, the Social-Democratic Movement for the Development of Georgia, Women's Party, Kartuli dashi, Christian-Democratic Movement, Our Georgia - Free Democrats, as well as public movement Protection of Georgia" and independent MPs Gia Tsagareishvili and Carlo Kopaliani joined the appeal of the Labor Party.

Opposition parties believe that currently there is no corresponding election and political environment for conducting democratic elections.
