Georgia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan Agree TRACECA Tariffs

Railway administrations of Georgia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan have agreed tariffs as part of the Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TARCECA) for the 2010 second half and introduced preferential rates on high-tonnage universal container transportation, Ukrainian media agencies report.

A 20 percent preferential tariff will be valid to Ilichevsk, Kerch and Odessa from the European Union countries.

Heads of railway, marine and seaports of TARCECA countries took part in the meeting.

TARCECA corridor was set up in 1998 and unites 13 countries of Europe and Asia, including Georgia.
