Global Star association has conferred a 5-star restaurant classification to one of the Tbilisi-based restaurants.
Mikheil Batiahsvili, Global Star director, told GBC the managing team of Ovali restaurant will be handed over a classification certificate on July 12.
Ovali opened on Meidan, Tbilisi, in spring 2009 by investing a Georgian capital. Global Star conducted an audit on food safety, hygiene and service criteria compliancy, Batiashvili said.
Global Star is conducting audits in three other Tbilisi-based restaurants, Batiashvili said. According to preliminary data, the restaurants are expected to obtain a three-star classification.
