The ratio of the tourism sector in investment inflows to the Autonomous Republic of Achara made up 51 percent in January-September 2010.
The Achara Ministry of Finance and Economy told GBC the tourism sector has recorded 57 million USD in investment inflows, up 11.6 percent compared to the same period of 2009.
The housing sector ranks second with 43.5 million USD, up 4.5 percent year on year.
The industry sector ranks third with 8.9 million USD (41.6 million USD year on year), transport and communications – 0.8 million USD (1.1 million USD year on year), other sectors – 1.5 million USD (3.4 million USD year on year).
Of total investments 79.3 million USD has been invested in the privatized assets (70.5 million USD year on year).
Total investment inflows to Achara in January-September rose 6.5 percent year on year and made up 111.8 million USD, including foreign investments of 82.5 million USD (73.3 million USD year on year) and domestic investments 29.3 million USD (31.7 million USD year on year).
