The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has disbursed a credit line of 5 million USD to VTB Bank Georgia as part of the trade facilitation program.
VTB Bank Georgia will issue loans to finance export-import operations and distribution of imported goods on the Georgian market.
“We have not set any deadlines to the bank and we may even enlarge the credit amount”, an EBRD representative noted.
EBRD has been already implementing similar programs with Bank Republic, TBC Bank and Bank of Georgia.
