The Tbilisi mission for trade and investments aims at promoting trade and investing, especially in agriculture sector, namely, in processing agriculture machines, neat cattle genetics, finished goods, meat, poultry and grain, AmCham says.
“The Mission enables American companies to collect more information on domestic investments and markets”, John Bower, administrator for the Foreign Agriculture Service (FAS), said.
The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and FSA are the meeting organizers.
AmCham says the Georgia-USA trade turnover in 2009 made up 79 million USD in the agriculture sector.
