The Names, a Georgian journal, has named SOCAR Georgia Gas, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), as the best company for 2009.
The Names has named the Black Sea Terminal in Kulevi, the Samegrelo Region, which is another subsidiary of SOCAR, as the best modernized company in 2009. The Kulevi terminal launched operation in 2008.
The Names handed over awards to 32 nominees at the hotel of Courtyard Marriott on January 19.
