Georgian Foreign Minister Rules out Georgia's Connection with Troubles in Upper Larsi Checkpoint Operation

The Upper Larsi checkpoint operates at full scale, Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze said at his meeting with the Armenian colleague.

Arka news portal reports the Upper Larsi checkpoint was closed for Armenian trucks for unclear reasons in September 2010.

At this stage, the checkpoint operates valuably and Tbilisi had not issued neither verbal nor writing instructions for closing the checkpoint, Vashadze said.

"The troubles may be of technical character", Vashadze said.

The Dariali-Upper Larsi checkpoint was reopened on March 1, 2010 since a three-year suspension.
